On October 1, 2025, the Mexican Ministry of Economy announced the initiation of an anti-dumping sunset review investigation on cold-rolled stainless steel sheets (Spanish: productos planos de acero inoxidable laminados en frío) originating from mainland China and Taiwan. The dumping investigation period for this case is from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2025.The TIGIE tariff codes for the products involved in this case are 7219.34.01, 7219.35.02, 7220.20.03, 9802.00.01, 9802.00.02, 9802.00.03, 9802.00.07, 9802.00.10, 9802.00.13, and 9802.00.19. A709 Grade HPS 485W steel sheet, The existing anti-dumping duties remain in effect during the investigation period. This announcement takes effect from the day following its publication.

On April 5, 2019, Mexico initiated an anti-dumping investigation into cold-rolled stainless steel sheets originating from mainland China and Taiwan.
