This week, during the Ramadan period in the Middle East, the trading atmosphere in the hot coil import market was light, and buyers were mainly wait-and-see. China's quotation is the most competitive, with mainstream export quotations from first tier steel mills at $595-600/ton CFR and second tier SPH310 steel mills at $570-580/ton CFR, both falling by $10/ton on a weekly basis. The mainstream export price from India remains at $620-625 per ton CFR, and there have been no reports of any transactions yet. Considering the current oversupply of hot coils in India SPH310 steel, buyers may only concentrate their purchases before the arrival of the rainy season in April. Coupled with the high inventory of buyers in Vietnam, the main export market, India's exports are hindered, and it is expected that its export quotation to the Middle East will SPH310 steel be lowered.
