The United States initiates the first anti-dumping and countervailing duty sunset review investigation on non-refillable steel cylinders

On April 1, 2026, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the initiation of the first sunset reviews of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on non-refillable steel cylinders imported from China. Concurrently, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) initiated its first sunset review investigations regarding material injury to the domestic industry, examining whether the revocation of the existing antidumping and countervailing duty measures would likely lead to a continuation or recurrence of material injury to the U.S. domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable period.
