The United States makes the final decision for tin plated double-sided reverse cutting

On January 5, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced a final anti-dumping determination on tin HX260BD+ZA steel mill products imported from Canada, China, Germany, South Korea, the Netherlands, Türkiye and the United Kingdom and Taiwan, China, China. It ruled that the dumping rate of Canadian producers/exporters was 5.27%, and that of Chinese producers/exporters was 122.52% (the margin after offsetting subsidies was adjusted to 111.98%) The dumping rate of German producers/exporters is 6.88%, that of Korean producers/exporters is 0.00%~2.69%, and that of Dutch, Türkiye, the United Kingdom and Taiwan, China is 0.00%. At the same time, the US Department of Commerce announced a final anti subsidy ruling on tin plated plates imported from China, ruling that Baoshan Iron&Steel Co., Ltd.'s tax rate was 649.98%, Shougang Jing Tang United Iron&Steel Co., Ltd.'s tax rate was 331.88%, and China's national unified tax rate was 331.88%. The International HX260BD+ZA steel Trade Commission (ITC) of the United States is expected to make a final ruling on anti-dumping and countervailing industry damage on February 20, 2024. This case involves products under the US Harmonized Tariff Numbers 7210.11.0000, 7210.12.0000, 7210.50.0020, 7210.50.0090, 7210.50.0000, 7212.10.0000, 7212.50.0000, 7225.99.0090, and 7226.99.0180.

On February 8, 2023, the U.S. Department of Commerce launched an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation against tinplate imported from China, and an anti-dumping investigation against tinplate imported from Canada, Germany, South Korea, the Netherlands, Türkiye, the United Kingdom and Taiwan, China. On June 21, 2023, the US Department of Commerce announced a preliminary affirmative anti-dumping ruling on tinplate imported from China. On August 17, 2023, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced its preliminary anti-dumping determination on tinplate imported from seven countries including China, Canada, Germany, South Korea, the Netherlands, Türkiye, the United Kingdom and Taiwan, China HX260BD+ZA steel.
