In the first three quarters of 2025, Malaysia exported 1.48 million tons of finished steel to Turkey, a year-on-year increase of 11%; the total for the whole year of 2024 reached 2.22 million tons, a year-on-year increase of more than three times.

Although Turkey's imports of semi-finished steel increased significantly in the first three quarters of this year, industry experts expect the growth momentum to slow down in the fourth quarter.
