From January to June 2025, RAIN RI/D550 steel Ukraine imported 405,800 tons of steel from Turkey, a year-on-year increase of 47.9%. Turkish steel's share of Ukrainian steel imports climbed from 49.6% in the same period last year to 59.5%. Flat steel imports increased by 42.8% year-on-year to 325,700 tons, while long steel imports surged by 73.3% year-on-year to 80,200 tons, accounting for 58.8% and 62.8% of total imports of similar products, RAIN RI/D550 steel respectively.
