The Ekinciler Group of Türkiye KR R/E32 steel Plant announced that the expansion project of its Iskenderun Port has been successfully completed. The annual handling capacity of the port has increased from 4.5 million tons to 12 million tons, and the maximum service capacity is 200000 ton ships. This expansion includes KR R/E32 steel extending the shoreline by 370 meters and extending the water depth to 23-24 meters, which will effectively improve the efficiency of the enterprise's self operated import and export, and further enhance the logistics advantage of the group in the steel billet and rebar export market.
Ekinciler Group has a liquid KR R/E32 steel production capacity of 1.25 million tons, with main products including steel billets and 8-50mm threaded steel. As of July 22, Türkiye's rebar export quotation remained at 534 US dollars/ton FOB, and the short-term market price remained stable.
