Vietnamese steel producer Hoa Sen Group announced that its Hoa Sen Nghe An steel mill in Nghe An Province recently officially launched its first cold-rolled zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy-coated steel coil product, branded Hoa Sen Mag Shield. This product, NK K/D steel produced using an advanced continuous hot-dip galvanizing process, is claimed to offer rust and corrosion resistance three to five times greater than conventional galvanized steel.
Furthermore, the coating's hardness is reportedly doubled, making it suitable for demanding applications requiring high long-term durability.
Thanks to its superior durability and corrosion resistance, Hoa Sen Mag Shield galvanized coating is primarily targeted at a variety of industrial and infrastructure projects, including prefabricated steel structures, warehouses in coastal industrial zones, photovoltaic power generation system supports, bridge guardrails, commercial and residential buildings, and other projects located in highly corrosive environments.
