What's A653 SHS steel ?

ANSWER:A653 SHS is a steel grade in American standard ASTM A653/A653M, A653 SHS is Solution hardened steel quality steel material, which has six grades: Grade 26(180), Grade 31(210), grade 35(240), grade 41(280), grade 44(300).ASTM A653/A653M specification covers steel sheet, zinc-coated (galvanized) or zinc-iron alloy-coated (galvannealed) by the hot-dip process in coils and cut lengths.

A653 SHS material steel have coil, strip, sheet condition, thickness is from 0.2mm-3mm.

A653 SHS steel Coil/strip/sheet surface quality:
A (As coated surface), B (Improved surface),C (Best quality surface)

A653 SHS steel Coil/strip/sheet surface treatment:
Chemical treated or not chemical treated, Oiled or not oiled, Phosphatized or not Phosphatized.

A653 SHS steel Coil/strip/sheet coating mass:
Pure Zinc coating: G01(Z001), G30(Z90), G40(Z120), G60(Z180), G90(Z275), G100(Z305), G115(Z350), G140(Z450), G165(Z500), G185(Z550), G210(Z600), G235(Z700), G300(Z900), G360(Z1100)
Alloy Zinc+Fe: A01(ZF001), A25(ZF75), A40(ZF120), A60(ZF180)
