What’s the CR MS900 steel ?

ANSWER: GMW3399 is the specification covers the requirements for continuous cast, hot rolled or cold rolled steel sheet with specified tensile strength from 450MPa through 1700MPa.

GMW3399 CR MS900 is cold rolled uncoated and coated steel coil or sheet , Martensitic(MS) quality.

CR MS900 is Martensitic quality steel. The delivery condition of CR MS900 steel can be common cold rolled( non coated), and Hot galvanized (coated).

“CR” means cold rolled, “900T” means min tensile strength is 900MPa, “700Y” means min yield strength is 700MPa.

The exact mechanical property requirements of CR MS900 is : Yield strength: 700-1000MPa, tensile strength is 900-1100MPa, total Elongation in 80mm is min 3.0%, Bending radius longitudinal and transverse is min 4.0t
