Ask:

What's HX260BD+ZA steel ?

ANSWER:HX260BD is a steel grade in European standard EN10346, HX260BD+ZA is bake hardening quality steel material (the steel exhibiting an increase in proof strength following heating in the region of 170 °C for 20 min ), The material No. of HX260BD is 1.0924.

+ZA means Hot-dip Zinc-aluminium alloy coated, application of a Zinc-aluminium coating by immersing the prepared strip in a molten bath of zinc-aluminum-aluminium. The composition of the bath is approximately 5% aluminum, small amounts of mischmetal and the balance zinc. So HX260BD+ZA means hot dip Zinc-aluminium coated, cold forming quality material with bake hardening quality.

HX260BD+ZA material steel have coil, strip, sheet condition, thickness is from 0.2mm-3mm.

HX260BD+ZA steel coating finish is N(Normal spangle) or M(Minimized spangle)

HX260BD+ZA steel Surface quality A (As coated surface) , B(Improved surface), C(Best quality surface)

HX260BD+ZA steel Surface treatment C (chemically passivated) , O (oiled), CO (chemically passivated and oiled) , P (phosphate) , PO (phosphate and oiled), S (sealed)

HX260BD+ZA steel Coating mass are: ZA095, ZA130, ZA185, ZA200, ZA255, ZA300

HX260BD+ZA steel mechanical property:
Proof strength should be 260-320MPa
Tensile strength should be 360-440MPa
Elongation A80 should be not less than 28%
Bake-hardening Index BH2 should be not less than 30MPa
