What's SGC490 steel ?

SGC490 is the base material SPC490 which are equally coated on both surfaces by hot dip zinc coating process. The composition by mass fraction is 97% or over zinc (provided that the aluminium content is usually 0.3% or less). The Application of SGC490 is for commercial use of high strength class

SGC490 steel Applicable thickness is 0.25mm or over up to and including 3.20mm

SGC490 steel coating shall be classified into 2 types: non-alloyed coating and alloyed coating. Non alloyed coating mass are: Z06/Z08/Z10/Z12/Z14/Z18/Z20/Z22/Z25/Z27/Z35/Z37/Z45/Z60, Alloyed coating are: F04/F06/F08/F10/F12/F18

SGC490 steel surface finish for non-alloyed coating : R (Regular spangle) and Z(Minimized spangle)

SGC490 steel surface chemical treatment are: C(Chromate treatment), P(Phosphate treatment), NC(Chromate-free treatment), NP(Chromate-free phosphate treatment), M(Untreated)

SGC490 steel tensile test characteristics:
yield strength :should be not less than 365MPa
tensile strength should be not less than 490MPa
Elongation should be not less than 16%
