What’s the SPCD steel ?

ANSWER: JIS G 3141 is the Japanese industrial standard specifies the cold-reduced carbon steel sheets, coils and strip, including the cold rolled strip steel and also the cut lengths there from.

JIS G 3141 SPCD is cold rolled drawing quality steel material coil, strip or sheets.

The surface finish of SPCD grade steel has full finished(use D), and Bright finish (use B)

SPCD is drawing quality steel. The first “C” means cold rolled , ”D” means drawing.

The exact mechanical property requirements of SPCD is :Yield strength is max 240MPa, tensile strength is min 270MPa, total Elongation in 80mm is min 30% .
