What’s the difference between SEFC440 and SEFC490 ?

Share:

ANSWER: SEFC440 and SEFC490 are both Electro-galvanized steel grades under Japanese standard JIS G3313. Comparing with the drawing quality grade SECC, SECD and SECE grades who usually used in cold forming application, SEFC440 and SEFC490 are the high strength quality, usually used for structural.

In The SEFC440 , 440 means it’s min tensile strength is 440MPa, and in the SEFC 490 grade, 490 means min tensile strength is 490MPa, So, the difference of SEFC440 and SEFC490 are min tensile strength.
