Argentina Issues Final Sunset Review Ruling on Anti-Dumping Duties on Steel Wheels from China

On March 4, 2026, the Ministry of Economy of Argentina issued Resolution No. 241/2026, rendering an affirmative final determination in the sunset review of the anti-dumping measures concerning steel wheels (Spanish: ruedas de acero) originating from China. The Ministry decided to continue levying an anti-dumping duty of 41.78% on the products under investigation, calculated on a Free on Board (FOB) basis; these measures shall remain in effect for a period of two years. JFS A3021 JEH270D Automotive steel strip, The products under investigation are steel wheels intended for use on buses, trucks, trailers, and semi-trailers, having a nominal diameter of 444.5 millimeters (17.5 inches) or greater but not exceeding 622.33 millimeters (24.5 inches), and a nominal thickness of 152.4 millimeters (6 inches) or greater. The Mercosur Tariff Codes applicable to the products under investigation are 8708.70.90 and 8716.90.90. These measures entered into force on the date of the publication of the Resolution.

On November 12, 2024, Argentina initiated a sunset review investigation regarding this case.
