On August 23, 2024, the Australian Anti Dumping Commission issued Notice No. 2024/059, announcing the postponement of the release of the basic factual report and final ruling recommendations for the second anti-dumping and anti subsidy sunset review investigation of deep drawn stainless steel sinks imported from China TS230 steel. It is expected that the Australian Commission will release a basic factual report no later than October 14, 2024, and submit a final ruling recommendation to the Australian Minister of Industry and Technology no later than November 27, 2024.
On March 18, 2014, the Australian Anti Dumping Commission launched an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation into China's stainless steel drawn deep water tanks. On March 26, 2015, Australia made a positive final ruling on the case.
On July 3, 2019, the Australian Anti Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2019/86, stating that in response to an application submitted by Oliveri Solutions Pty Ltd, a domestic Australian company, the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation has been initiated on stainless TS230 steel steel drawn deep water tanks imported from China. On February 28, 2020, the Australian Anti Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2020/003, deciding to continue extending the anti-dumping and anti subsidy measures against Chinese products from March 27, 2020, with the measures effective until March 26, 2025.
On May 6, 2024, the Australian Anti Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2024/028, stating that in response to an application submitted by Oliveri Solutions Pty Ltd, a domestic Australian company, a second anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation has been initiated on stainless steel drawn deep water tanks imported from China. The Australian customs code for the TS230 steel product in question is 7324.10.00.52.
