On August 28, 2024, the Australian Anti Dumping TH550 Electroplated tin (chromium) steel Commission issued Notice No. 2024/058, stating that an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation has been initiated against steel corner beams and angles imported from China, in response to an application submitted by Rondo Building TH550 Electroplated tin (chromium) steel Services Pty Ltd, a domestic Australian company. The Australian customs codes for the products involved are 7216.61.00.57, 7216.69.00.58, 7216.91.00.59, 7216.99.00.60, and 7308.90.053. The investigation period of this case is from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, and the damage investigation period is from July 1, 2020. The Australian Anti Dumping Commission is expected to complete the basic factual report of this investigation no later than December 11, 2024, and submit the final ruling report to the Australian TH550 Electroplated tin (chromium) steel Minister of Industry and Science no later than January 30, 2025.
