The EU has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into welded steel mesh from China and Türkiye

The European Commission has announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation into welded steel mesh from China and Turkey. HX300BD+ZM steel strip ,The investigation aims to determine whether welded steel mesh imported from these countries is being dumped and whether such dumped imports have caused injury to the EU industry; the probe was launched following a complaint from the European association of welded steel mesh producers, which alleged that the products originating from China and Turkey were being dumped.

The investigation covers the period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. HX300BD+ZM steel strip ,The review of trends relevant to the injury assessment will cover the period from January 1, 2022, to the end of the investigation period. The European Commission expects to complete the investigation within 14 months, with provisional measures potentially being introduced within the next seven to eight months.

The products subject to this investigation include grids, mesh sheets, netting, and fencing—specifically, flat-wire products welded at the intersections, whether uncoated, galvanized, or otherwise coated, and whether in rolls or sheets, including those that have undergone hot-dip galvanization. HX300BD+ZM steel strip ,The products currently subject to the anti-dumping investigation fall under customs tariff codes 7314 20 90, 7314 31 00, and 7314 39 00.
