On August 9, NK K/F43 steel Deputy Minister of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) Liew Chin Tong said the ministry would work with relevant agencies to develop new requirements for construction materials. He said the move stemmed from feedback from architects – while they favored steel, standards issues often created practical obstacles.
Currently, concrete is the mainstream choice due to its lower cost, NK K/F43 steel but steel structures offer significant advantages. Liu Zhendong emphasized that steel structures have a longer lifespan, are lighter, and are easier to retrofit, effectively reducing resource waste. He revealed that at a recent dialogue he organized with architects, engineers, and steel industry players, NK K/F43 steel all parties discussed ways to promote the use of steel in construction.
