Ukrainian flat steel producer Zaporizhstal expects a slight decline in August flat steel shipments, with a corresponding decrease in exports, due to slowing hot-rolled product sales. NK K/F40 steel The company plans to ship approximately 214,000 tons of flat steel in August, a 3% decrease from July. Hot-rolled product shipments are projected to fall to 172,000 tons (-3%), including 63,000 tons supplied to the Ukrainian domestic market (+5%) and 109,000 tons exported (-8%). NK K/F40 steel Cold-rolled product shipments are expected to remain at 42,000 tons, with 25,000 tons destined for the domestic market (-3%) and 17,000 tons exported (+5%).

According to Mysteel, from January to July this year, Zaporizhstal shipped about 1.5 million tons of flat products, NK K/F40 steel a year-on-year increase of 12%, including 1.2 million tons of hot-rolled products (+12%) and 305,000 tons of cold-rolled products (+13%).
