Recently, the US A623 steel Department of Commerce (DOC) released the preliminary results of the administrative review of Türkiye's antidumping duty order for rebar. The results showed that during the review period from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023, the sales prices of rebar of some Türkiye producers were lower than the normal A623 steel prices.
The US Department of Commerce has determined the weighted average dumping margin for some companies: Ç olako ğ lu Metalurji A. Ş/ Ç olako ğ lu dis ticaret A. Ş. and kaptan demir ç elik sanayisi ve Ticaret A. Ş/ Kaptan Metal Dis Ticaret ve Nakliyat A. Ş. is 1.05%; İ Ç DA Ş Ç elik Enerji Tersane ve Ula ş ı m Sanayi A. Ş. is 0%.
In addition, the US Department of Commerce has withdrawn its review of Diller Dis Ticaret A.S. (Diller), Ekinciler Demir ve Celik Sanayi A.S. (Ekinciler), and Habas Sinai ve Tibbi Gazlar Istihsal Endurisi A.S. (Habas). During the review period, the above-mentioned companies did not export rebar to the United States A623 steel.
The final review results are expected to be announced within 120 days.
