The United States continues to impose anti-dumping duties on Japanese tin factories

Share:

According to the rulings of the US Department of Commerce and the US International Trade Commission, Washington will continue to impose anti-dumping duties on some tin rolled products from Japan. The involved goods include products within the range of US Customs codes 7210.11.0000, 7210.12.0000, 7210.50.0000, 7212.10.0000, 7212.50.0000, 7225.99.0090, and 7226.99.00180.

After examination, the US Department of Commerce believes that revoking the anti-dumping order on tin rolled products imported from Japan may lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping. At the same time, the department reported Japan's CR TRIP700 steel dumping profit margin to the International Trade Commission and stated that if the CR TRIP700 steel order is revoked, the dumping profit margin may reach as high as 95.29%. The International Trade Commission responded to this by stating that revoking the order may result in further damage to the relevant industries in the United States in the foreseeable future.

Therefore, the US Department of Commerce has issued a notice to extend the anti-dumping order. This command was first issued in 2000 and has been extended four times since then CR TRIP700 steel.
