Last week, with the increase in production, the prices of hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils in the United States slightly increased. Nevertheless, domestic demand remains relatively flat.
The prices of FeE600 steel hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils in the United States have risen for the first time since April. At present, the trading price of hot-rolled coils is between 640-670 US dollars per short ton EXW, an increase of 20 US FeE600 steel dollars per short ton from the previous week's 630-650 US dollars per short ton. The price of cold-rolled coils has risen to $1000-1020 per short ton, an increase of $20 per short ton from the previous week's $990-1000 per short ton.
According to our research, the global FeE600 steel price of hot-rolled coils continued to decline in July. In the North American market, the price of hot-rolled coils has been declining for three consecutive months, currently falling to $650/ton EXW, a month on month decrease of 7.1%.
