On June 30, 2025, the Australian BV/EH32 steel Anti Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2025/053, stating that an anti-dumping and anti subsidy investigation has been initiated against Light Gauge Steel Stud and Track imported from China, in response to an application submitted by Rondo Building Services Pty Ltd, a domestic BV/EH32 steel Australian company. The Australian customs codes for the products involved are 7216.61.00.57, 7216.69.00.58, 7308.90.0052, 7308.90.0053, 7308.90.0055, and 7308.90.0056. The investigation period of this case is from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, and the damage investigation period starts from April 1, 2021. The Australian Anti Dumping Commission is expected to complete the basic factual report of this investigation no later than October 20, 2025, and submit the final ruling report to the Australian Minister of Industry and Science no later than BV/EH32 steel December 2, 2025.
