Brazil’s Wire Rod Exports Plunge in February, Imports Rise Significantly

According to data released by Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX), Brazil's wire rod exports in February 2026 totaled 32,400 tons—a decline of approximately 54% compared to the 69,600 tons recorded in January. Meanwhile, Brazil's wire rod imports in February totaled 6,200 tons—an increase of approximately 48% from the 4,200 tons imported in January.
