Share:

According to statistics, Brazil's wire exports reached 9800 tons in September, compared to 16000 tons in August and 17700 tons in July. The export destinations for September are South American countries (7400 tons, $624/ton FOB), the Dominican S500QL steel Republic (2300 tons, $609/ton FOB), and Canada (100 tons, $927/ton FOB). The exporters are ArcelorMittal and Gerdau, while Brazil imported 2100 tons of S500QL steel wire rod in September from 27900 tons in August. The origin of these imported products is China, Egypt, Germany, and Japan. It is estimated that there will be 6800 tons of unused wire quota before September 30, 2024, indicating that the import volume of this S500QL steel product will still decrease next month.
