Canada initiates first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on corrosion-resistant steel plates

On January 15 and 16, 2024, the Canadian Court of International Trade (CITT) and the Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) respectively issued announcements to launch the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation against corrosion resistant steel HX180BD+ZA steel sheets originating in or imported from Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, India and South Korea. Stakeholders should submit the survey questionnaire for this sunset review before February 22, 2024. The Canadian HX180BD+ZA steel Border Services Agency will make a final ruling on the sunset review investigation no later than June 28, 2024.

On July 26, 2018, the Canadian Border Service Agency launched an anti-dumping investigation against the corrosion-resistant steel plates imported from Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, India and South Korea. On January 22, 2019, the Canadian Border Service Agency made a final affirmative determination on anti-dumping of corrosion-resistant steel plates imported from Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, India and South Korea.
