Despite internal challenges such as power shortages, Hormozgan Steel Company (HOSCO), a major Iranian steel producer, maintained strong performance in the first eight months of the Iranian calendar year (March 21 - November 21, 2025). 23P060 Grain oriented electrical steel, As a subsidiary of Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC), HOSCO continued to expand its overseas market presence while better meeting domestic customer needs.

Market analysts point out that with the commissioning of the MSC combined cycle power plant and solar power plant, as well as the progress of the wind power project in Khaf, the group's reliance on its own energy resources is expected to increase further, thereby enhancing overall operational stability.

In terms of production capacity, HOSCO currently has an annual production capacity of 1.66 million tons of DRI and 1.5 million tons of slab. It is understood that the company plans to extend its industrial chain into the finished steel sector in the future, further improving its product portfolio.
