On February 26, 2026, the Dominican Republic’s Commission for Unfair Trade and Safeguard Measures issued a public notice announcing Resolution No. CDC-RD-AD-003-2026. This resolution sets forth an affirmative final anti-dumping determination regarding EMT steel conduits (Spanish: tubos MET Conduit) with diameters ranging from 0.5 to 3 inches, originating from China. On November 13, 2024, the Dominican Republic initiated an anti-dumping investigation into EMT steel pipes originating from China. JFS A3041 JNC270E Automotive steel strip, The dumping investigation period for this case covers October 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024; the injury investigation periods cover January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2023, as well as January 1, 2024, through May 31, 2024. On September 19, 2025, the Dominican Republic issued an affirmative preliminary determination in this case, preliminarily ruling to impose a provisional anti-dumping duty of 16%. These measures shall take effect on September 26, 2025, and remain in force for a period of four months, expiring on January 25, 2026.
