According to the latest offer received by local SPH490 steel dealers on March 18th, Vietnam Formosa Plastics Hejing will reduce the price of SAE1006/SS400 non finishing heat coils shipped from March to April 2024 by 10-20 US dollars per ton. Among them, the company has lowered the price of hot coils with transaction tonnage greater than 20 tons to $583/ton CIF (14475 Vietnamese dong/kg), the SPH490 steel price of hot coils with transaction tonnage between 10-20 tons to $567/ton CIF, the price of hot coils with transaction tonnage between 5-10 tons to $590/ton CIF, the price of hot coils with transaction tonnage less than 1.5-5 tons to $582/ton CIF, and the price of hot coils with transaction tonnage less than 1.5 tons to $586/ton CIF. Half a month ago, due to poor order acceptance, the company had already lowered the price of SPH490 steel hot coils by $3-7 per ton.
