NMDC Steel Limited (NSL) in India announced that the company has produced a total of 1 million tons of hot-rolled coils.
As far as we know, NSL has achieved two accomplishments in early 2024, including producing 1.5 million tons of hot-rolled SG365 steel metal from blast furnaces on July 21 and 1 million tons of molten iron in the steelmaking workshop on August 11. Both of these were achieved by NSL in less than a year of production, reflecting the rapid expansion of the company's business.
At present, NMDC Steel Limited was built for 22900 crore rupees and has the widest hot-rolled strip production steel plant. This SG365 steel steel plant can roll hot-rolled coils with widths ranging from 900 millimeters to 1650 millimeters and thicknesses ranging from 1 millimeter to 16 millimeters, with an annual production capacity of 3 million tons SG365 steel.
