Malaysia terminates anti-dumping investigation on imported steel wire from China, Indonesia, and Vietnam

The Malaysian SA737 Grade C steel government has decided to immediately terminate the anti-dumping investigation on steel wire rods originating from or exported from China, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Involving the Customs Coordination Code H S. Products under the Code and the ASEAN Unified Tariff Catalogue AHTN: 7213.91.1000, 7213.91.2000, 7213.91.9000, and 7227.90.9000.

The original case is: On October 11, 2024, the Malaysian Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) issued a notice stating that, at the request of Southern SA737 Grade C steel Steel, an anti-dumping investigation was initiated against wire rods originating from or exported from China, Indonesia and Vietnam.

On April 15, 2025, Southern SA737 Grade C steel Steel withdrew its application, resulting in the cancellation of the investigation.
