To further improve logistics infrastructure and promote the development of industrial supply chains, Saudi Arabia SA841 Grade C steel will build a large logistics park in King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam. This project is expected to significantly improve the warehousing and cargo flow efficiency of the steel industry, and drive the import and re export of steel products in the eastern province.

The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) has signed a cooperation agreement with Sultan Logistics to jointly invest up to 200 million riyals (approximately 53.3 million US dollars) in the development of the logistics park. The project covers a total area of 197000 square meters and aims to enhance port competitiveness, optimize operational efficiency, and improve overall logistics service quality.

This move is part of Saudi Arabia's National Transport and Logistics Strategy and an important step towards building a global logistics hub under Vision 2030. The new logistics park will include a modern warehouse of 35000 square meters, administrative office areas, and a dedicated yard for dry SA841 Grade C steel goods and refrigerated containers. At the same time, the park will also establish a dedicated re export area to simplify the flow of commercial goods and further improve operational efficiency.

The construction of this park will provide customized logistics support for the steel and construction industry chain, strengthening the hub position of Abdulaziz Port in regional industrial material transportation. After the completion of the project, it will facilitate the smooth import of steel products, structural components, and engineering SA841 Grade C steel project materials, while enhancing the port's re export capacity.
