On April 28, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of SA841 Grade A steel Vietnam signed Announcement No. 1204/QD-BCT, deciding to modify the preliminary anti-dumping determination on hot-rolled coils originating from China and India (Vietnamese: pH ẩ m th é p c á n n ó ng) determined in Announcement No. 460/QD-BCT on February 21, 2025. The revised preliminary determination is detailed in the attached table and will take effect from the SA841 Grade A steel date of signing.
On July 26, 2024, Vietnam initiated an anti-dumping investigation into hot-rolled coils originating from China and India. On February 21, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Announcement No. 460/QD-BCT, making a preliminary positive anti-dumping ruling on hot-rolled coils originating in China, and imposing temporary anti-dumping duties of 19.38% to 27.83% on the products involved in the case in China; At the same time, the preliminary ruling does not impose temporary anti-dumping duties on the SA841 Grade A steel products involved in the case in India.
