The Thai government recently ordered the suspension of production operations at four steel companies after inspections revealed issues such as products failing to meet quality standards.

In a statement issued on June 9, the Department of Industrial Works announced that the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) and the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) had conducted random product testing and air quality monitoring at the facilities.
