On November 12, 2024, the U.S. A871 Type IV Grade 60(415) steel Department of Commerce announced that the fourth anti-dumping fast sunset final review was made on hot rolled carbon steel flat products imported from Chinese Mainland, India, Indonesia, Thailand and Ukraine, as well as Taiwan, China, China: if the current anti-dumping measures are cancelled, the products involved in Chinese Mainland will continue or recur at a dumping margin of 90.83%, the products involved in India will continue or recur at a dumping margin of 44.40%, the products involved in Indonesia will continue or recur at a dumping margin of 47.86%, the products involved in Thailand will continue or recur at a dumping margin of 20.30%, and the products involved in Ukraine will continue or recur at a dumping margin of 44.40%. The case product continued or recurred with a dumping margin of 90.33%, and the case product in Taiwan, China, China continued or recurred with a dumping margin of 29.14%. On November 12, 2024, the US Department of Commerce issued a statement announcing the final ruling of the fourth rapid sunset review of anti subsidy measures on A871 Type IV Grade 60(415) steel hot-rolled carbon steel plates imported from India, Indonesia, and Thailand. The ruling stated that if the anti subsidy tax in this case is cancelled, it will result in subsidies for Indian products at a rate of 336.62% -360.23% continuing or recurring, subsidies for Indonesian products at a rate of 10.21% continuing or recurring, and subsidies for Thai products at a rate of 2.38% continuing or recurring.
On December 12, 2000, the United States launched an anti-dumping investigation against hot rolled carbon steel plates imported from 10 countries including Argentina, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Chinese Mainland, Romania, South Africa, Thailand and Ukraine, as well as Taiwan, China, China, and a countervailing investigation against hot rolled carbon steel plates imported from 5 countries including Argentina, India, Indonesia, South Africa and Thailand. On September 28, 2001, the United States A871 Type IV Grade 60(415) steel made a final ruling on this case. On December 27, 2007, February 7, 2014, and August 27, 2019, the taxation period was extended for three times. On July 1, 2024, the US Department of Commerce launched the fourth anti-dumping sunset review investigation into hot-rolled carbon steel plates imported from mainland China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Ukraine, and Taiwan, as well as the fourth anti subsidy sunset review investigation into hot-rolled carbon steel plates imported from Indonesia, India, and Thailand.
