On November 12, 2024, the Ministry A871 Type II Grade 60(415) steel of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Announcement No. 3011/QD-BCT, making the second sunset review negative final judgment on anti-dumping of cold-rolled stainless steel products originating in Chinese Mainland, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan, and deciding to terminate the imposition of anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the case in Chinese Mainland, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan. The Vietnamese tax numbers of the products involved are 7219.32.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00, 7219.90.00, 7220.20.10, 7220.20.90, 7220.90.10, and 7220.90.90. The measures shall come into effect from the date of announcement.
On October 5, 2014, Vietnam A871 Type II Grade 60(415) steel officially imposed anti-dumping duties on cold-rolled stainless steel products from the aforementioned countries/regions. In October 2018, Vietnam initiated the first sunset review investigation of anti-dumping on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries/regions. On October 21, 2019, Vietnam made the final ruling of the first sunset review of anti-dumping on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries/regions, and continued to impose anti-dumping duties on the involved enterprises. The measures came into effect on October 26, 2019 and are valid for five years. On October 23, 2023, Vietnam initiated the second sunset review investigation of anti-dumping on the products involved in the above-mentioned A871 Type II Grade 60(415) steel countries/regions.
