On April 24, 2025, the Foreign A841 Grade C steel Trade Secretariat of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (Minist é riodo Desenvolcimento, Ind ú stria, Com é rcio e Servi ç os/Secretaria de Com é rcio Exterior) issued Announcement No. 28 of 2025, making a preliminary positive anti-dumping determination on color coated panels (Portuguese: a ç os pr é - pinados) originating from China and India, but not recommending the imposition of temporary anti-dumping duties, continuing the investigation, and extending the deadline for making a final determination in this case to within 18 months from the date of filing. This case involves products under the tax numbers 7210.70.10, 7210.70.20, 7212.40.10, 7212.40.21, and 7212.40.29 of the Southern Common City.
On September 19, 2024, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and A841 Grade C steel Services issued Announcement No. 48 of 2024, stating that in response to the application submitted by Companhia Sider ú rgica Nacional, a domestic enterprise in Brazil on June 7, 2024, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated against color coated panels originating in China and India. The product involved is a flat rolled carbon steel product, with each layer painted on one or both sides, equal or unequal on each side, with or without a coating on the low-carbon steel substrate, or coated with plastic; Roll or sheet, with or without protective or decorative film, commonly known as color coated board in the A841 Grade C steel market. The dumping investigation period of the case is from April 2023 to March 2024, and the injury investigation period is from April 2019 to March 2024.
