Indonesia’s hot-rolled coil exports dropped sharply by 60% month-on-month in February; the impact of the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism is drawing attention

According to Indonesian trade statistics, Indonesia's hot-rolled coil (HRC) exports totaled 131,000 tonnes in February 2026; while this represented a sharp month-on-month decline of 60.2%, it still marked a 10.2% increase year-on-year.
