On August 13, 2025, RAIN RI/A40 steel the Ministry of Finance of Japan announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation into hot-dip galvanized steel strip and sheet originating in China and South Korea, following a request filed on April 28, 2025, by domestic manufacturers Nippon Steel Corporation, Nippon Steel Sheet Metal Corporation, Kobe Steel, Ltd., and Yodogawa Steel Works. RAIN RI/A40 steel The Japanese customs tariff numbers for the products involved are 7210.49, 7212.30, 7225.92, and 7226.99. The anti-dumping investigation period runs from January 1, 2024, to December 30, 2024, and the industry injury investigation period runs from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2025.
The questionnaire has been sent to stakeholders. RAIN RI/A40 steel Stakeholders who have not received the questionnaire within 7 days from the date of filing should submit a written application and relevant materials to the Ministry of Finance of Japan within 14 days from the date of filing.
