The latest data from Türkiye LR/DH50 steel Statistics Bureau shows that in May 2025, Türkiye's rebar export increased by 21% year-on-year to 388000 tons. Among them, the quantity exported to Romania reached 54500 tons, doubling year-on-year and becoming the largest single export destination of the month; The export to LR/DH50 steel Yemen was 34000 tons, a significant decrease compared to the same period last year, which was 95200 tons. Exported 27200 tons to Georgia and 20000 tons to Bulgaria, both significantly higher than the level of about 1000 tons during the same period last year. In addition, 26000 tons were exported to Lithuania, 14500 tons were exported to Northern Cyprus, 13500 tons were exported to Kosovo, and 11500 tons were exported to Syria, indicating a continuous optimization of the export market structure. As of July 1, Türkiye's rebar export quotation LR/DH50 steel was USD 539/ton FOB.
