Türkiye’s welded pipe exports fell 10% year-on-year from January to May 2025, with exports to the US shrinking significantly

According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, Turkey's welded steel pipe exports from January to May 2025 were 760,000 tons, a 10% year-on-year decrease. In terms of export structure, Romania remained the largest destination, importing 135,000 tons, despite a 16% year-on-year decrease. In terms of raw materials, as of July 25, KR R/E56 steel Turkish hot-rolled coil (HRC) was US$535/ton EXW, up US$5 from the previous week.
