On June 26, 2025, the Department of Foreign BV/A550 steel Trade of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand announced that, in response to the application submitted by Thai domestic enterprises, cold rolled carbon steel coils and non coils (Thai: 48. Initiate an anti circumvention investigation on the anti-dumping case based on the case of "Cold Reduced Carbon Steel in Coils and not in Coils". Review whether the products involved were exported to Thailand through minor modifications to circumvent current anti-dumping measures. This case involves products under the Thai customs code 7225.590.090. The Chinese BV/A550 steel manufacturers involved in the case are as follows:

On August 17, 2012, Thailand launched an anti-dumping investigation on cold-rolled carbon steel coils and non coils imported from Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, China and Vietnam. On February 6, 2014, Thailand BV/A550 steel made a positive final ruling on the case.
On February 5, 2019, Thailand launched the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on cold-rolled carbon steel coils and non coils originating in Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, China and Vietnam. On January 25, 2020, Thailand made a positive final ruling on the case and decided to continue imposing anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries and regions for a period of 5 years. This measure will be implemented from January 25, 2020, and will terminate on January 24, 2024.
On January 23, 2025, the Department of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand announced that, at the application of domestic enterprises in Thailand, the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation was launched against cold-rolled carbon steel coils and non coils originating in Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, China, China and Vietnam.
