In May 2025, Türkiye's imports of cold-rolled coils will reach 88000 tons, up 22.2% month on month, although still down 1.1% year on year. The import amount for the month increased by 18.5% month on month to 56.99 million US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 18.4%.
From the perspective of source country, South Korea BV/D420 steel continues to maintain Türkiye's position as the largest supplier of cold rolled coils, with the supply of 132100 tons in the first five months, up 58% year on year. Next is Russia, with a supply of 101400 tons, a year-on-year increase of 44%; The supply from China was 67600 tons, a year-on-year increase of 19.6%.
Driven by the gradual recovery of demand and the stability of regional supply, the import of Türkiye's cold-rolled coils has maintained a growth trend.
