On July 4, 2025, the Vietnamese BV/A steel Ministry of Trade and Industry announced that the anti-dumping measures on H-shaped steel (Vietnamese: th é p h ì nh ch ữ H) originating in China are about to expire, and stakeholders should submit a sunset review investigation application before August 4, 2025.
On October 5, 2016, Vietnam BV/A steel conducted an anti-dumping investigation on H-beams originating from China (including the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region). On September 5, 2017, Vietnam officially imposed anti-dumping duties on Chinese H-beam products for a period of five years, valid until September 5, 2022. On October 19, 2021, Vietnam initiated its first sunset review investigation into the case. On August 31, 2022, Vietnam made its first sunset review final ruling on the case, continuing to impose anti-dumping duties ranging from 22.09% to 33.51% on the products BV/A steel involved. The measures will take effect from September 6, 2022 and are valid for five years.
